Why we use Claude

Claude is our AI assistant for writing, analysis, coding, and knowledge work. On our Team plan, everyone gets a shared workspace with collaborative conversations, shared knowledge, and admin controls — not just an individual chat tool.


Seat types: Standard vs. Premium

Within the Team plan, there are two seat types. They don't differ in which features you can use — both include the full Claude app, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, shared Projects, connectors (e.g. Microsoft 365, Slack, Google Workspace), and admin controls. The difference is purely in how much you can use:

Light Bulb Our default: start everyone on a Standard seat. Only upgrade someone to Premium if they consistently run into usage limits — there's no need to over-provision.

How do you know when someone is running into the limits?

  • Admins can check usage analytics in Organization settings , which show which members are approaching or hitting their weekly or per-session limits.
  • Individual users get a notification in the app when they're close to or have hit their limit — so they'll likely mention it to you directly too.
  • It's worth reviewing usage every few months rather than reacting to a single complaint — that gives a clearer picture of who consistently needs more room versus who just had one unusually heavy week.


Step 1: Get access

Ask your IT lead to invite you to the Claude organisation with your @moralfabric.org (or relevant org) email address.

Step 2: Install Claude on desktop (recommended)

  • Red Apple Mac:  claude.ai/download 
  • Window Windows:  claude.ai/download 

Step 3: Install Claude on mobile (optional)

  • Red Apple iPhone / iPad:  Claude on the App Store 
  • Robot Android:  Claude on Google Play 

Step 4: Connect your tools (MCP)

Claude can read and write in our actual tools — Slite, Asana, Slack, Gmail and more — through MCP connectors.
